Those of you Harry Potter fans jonesing for more Professor McGonagall need look no further. Maggie Smith portrayed another headstrong private school teacher to much acclaim (and an Oscar win) over 40 years ago. She plays this Colorful Character to the hilt, struggling with internecine academic battles everywhere she looks in 1930's Edinburgh...a disapproving Head Mistress, a jealous student, and a fellow art teacher lover. A bit stagey but worth Miss Maggie's performance and the title song that became a big hit for Oliver.
