Hokey but effective WWII kitsch. Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood lead a band of Allies in a rescue mission to save a high ranking general--who knows Big Secrets--from a crazy Nazi castle high up in the Bavarian Alps. Lots of nail-biting vertiginousness (of course the only way up is by cable car) and double crosses (don't even try to understand the plot), just enjoy Clint blasting away umpteen Nazi baddies.
